At Response Audio, we believe that music is an essential part of life. The founder, Bill Baker (thats me) started Response Audio in the fall of 1996. Beginning in 2007, a good friend and I started Purity Audio Design where I have been since the beginning. In the spring of 2024, my partner wanted to go into high end retail and I wanted to continue building so we decided to go separate ways. Some of the products now found on this web site are enhanced versions of the products I designed for Purity Audio design that will now be offered in custom built form.
Most products are Custom Built to Order. The SET amplifiers and Segue v2 preamplifier were designed to provide music lovers of any budget with audiophile quality products at real world prices. Our goal is to get more people interested in quality music playback to appreciate what music can do for the soul and mind.
The Master Series is designed for the most discriminating listeners. We are currently in process of developing new chassis' for this series.
