Where tubes and solid state sing together.
Beginning May 2025, we are utilizing the same 300 watt GaN FET power module as used in our 300 watt DHT/300 DHT Hybrid Amplifier.
The MB300H Hybrid, utilizes some of the latest GaN FET Class D technology. Same power module as or DHT/300 Hybrid Amplifier. Paired with an enhanced version of our 12AU7 balanced input tube circuit feeding a 300 wpc output stage, it provides both tube richness and dynamic control.
The MB300H features a new, rather unique tube input stage using 2 different circuits for each half of the 12AU7-12AT7 dual triode tubes. Sporting a lively triode tube stage feeding the 300 watt GaN Fet amplifier stage which in turn delivers powerful and dynamic sonic performance with just the right amount of tube euphonics to breath new life to your system.
The MB300H provides both balanced and single ended inputs as well as a 3 position [gain] switch on the rear panel. Low, medium and high gain are available to better match the amplifier with the rest of your system.
Remaining amplifiers have two large vent holes on the top of the chassis with pure copper mesh for ventilation.
All Foundation products are housed in an all aluminum chassis with aluminum front backing plate with a laser engraved acrylic front panel. The chassis itself uses extensive bracing to help eliminate any resonance from the chassis to get into the signal. We have decided to not pursue expensive, custom CNC'ed aluminum chassis for the Foundation Series to keep our pricing reasonable. Do you want to spend an extra couple of thousands of dollars for a fancy chassis only to get the same performance?
